Concrete & Masonry Coatings
WaterProofing Sealer
Basic Use:
Seal Pro WaterProofing Sealer is a moderate gloss clear protective coating for use on: interior/exterior concrete, masonry, stucco, brick, stone, slate, interlocking pavers, concrete roof tile, exposed aggregate, keystone, and cut coral, as well as many other types of decorative concrete surfaces. It waterproofs and dustproofs the surface while providing a high resistance to abrasion.

Seal Pro WaterProofing Sealer has a very high glass transition point which provides excellent resistance to scratching and marring in hot climates and is formulated to exhibit a high degree of resistance to U.V. sunlight. It provides a deep rich look to any finish while providing excellent resistance to water, dirt and grime, oil, grease, rust, acid, chlorine, fertilizer stains, and mildew, as well as stains from most other organic matter. Seal Pro Waterproofing Sealer is non-yellowing, does not turn "cloudy" and may be used on horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Materials:
Seal Pro WaterProofing Sealer is a special blend of modified acrylic polymers. It is the result of over 25 years of research and development in the Architectural Paving Industry and has been tested and proven by a multitude of contractors on millions of square feet worldwide. Seal Pro WaterProofing Sealer is available to contractors in five gallon pails and fifty-five gallon drums.
Application:
The surface should be cleaned of dirt, oil, grease, rust and any other foreign matter and allowed to dry completely. Seal Pro WaterProofing Sealer may be applied to un-sealed concrete surfaces using roller, brush or spray equipment. Coverage rates will vary depending on the porosity of the surface, usually around 100 - 200 square feet per gallon. Allow two hours for pedestrian traffic and twenty-four hours for vehicular traffic.
Please note: Not all coatings in the industry are compatible. If your surface has a previously applied coating, complete removal is usually recommended. Application of Seal Pro products over previously applied coatings does not correct any deficiencies in existing coatings and is no guarantee of future performance.
Slip Resistant Finish:
Seal Pro offers a special powder additive called "Skid Grit" that, when blended together with Seal Pro WaterProofing Solvent Base Sealer, provides a slip resistant finish to the freshly sealed surface. Depending on the owners requirements, Skid Grit may be added at a variety of dosage rates to create the desired amount of slip resistance. This is usually recommended in pedestrian traffic areas that are exposed to moisture due to rain, swimming pools, sprinklers, dew and general maintenance.
Maintenance:
Sealed surfaces should be periodically cleaned to remove any dirt or grease that may accumulated. Use a mild detergent or degreaser and a low pressure cleaner for routine cleaning. A dilute acid solution (one part muriatic acid to ten parts water) may be used to remove rust or sprinkler water residue. Avoid high pressure cleaning and the use of solvents. Depending on general wear and tear, the surface should be periodically cleaned and lightly re-sealed every two to three years in order to maintain a well sealed, stain resistant finish.
